Founded in 2007 by Andrea Serusi and Ornela Haxhiri, Ital Costruzioni is an Italian-owned industrial manufacturing company based in Maminas, Durrës, Albania.

The company specializes in the engineering, fabrication and assembly of complex steel structures, industrial components and tailor-made equipment for the energy, environmental, air-filtration and process industries.

From the beginning, Ital Costruzioni has pursued a strategy of continuous investment in production facilities, advanced machinery, technical expertise, quality systems and internal organization. This long-term approach has enabled the company to become a reliable manufacturing partner for customers in Italy, Germany and other European markets.

Strategic Location and Production Capacity

The Ital Costruzioni production facility is strategically located in Maminas, a few kilometres from the Port of Durrës and within easy reach of Tirana International Airport.

Its location provides efficient road, sea and air connections with Italy and the principal European industrial markets, supporting both standard and oversized shipments.

The facility covers a total area of approximately 20,000 m², including around 8,000 m² of covered production space entirely dedicated to manufacturing activities.

With a workforce of approximately 120 employees, including qualified engineers, technicians, welders, machine operators and quality-control personnel, Ital Costruzioni can achieve a monthly production capacity of approximately 200–250 tonnes of finished products, depending on the dimensions, complexity and technical requirements of each project.

Welding Capabilities

Sustainability and CBAM Readiness

Ital Costruzioni is committed to improving the environmental performance, transparency and traceability of its manufacturing activities.

The production facility is supported by a 400 kW photovoltaic system, contributing to the use of renewable energy within the manufacturing process.

The company has also implemented a structured system for monitoring the origin of raw materials, production data and embedded emissions associated with steel products.

In 2026, Ital Costruzioni successfully completed a CBAM pre-verification process performed by RINA Services S.p.A. This represents an important step in supporting European customers with increasingly reliable, transparent and structured emissions data in line with the evolving Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism requirements.
